A: Hello, you can either power it via PoE using your Reolink PoE NVR or use a 12V1A power adapter.

Q: Will this camera work with the rlk16-410b8, including time-lapse?

A: Yes, it will work with the rlk16-410b8. However, please note that when you connect the camera directly to the NVR, some functions like time-lapse and smart home won't be available. In that case, we recommend using it as a standalone camera or connecting it via a PoE switch to the NVR.

Q: Can this camera be viewed via the Reolink mobile app without being connected to an NVR?

A: Yes, it can.

Q: What is the length of the included Ethernet cable? Is it short, or do I need to purchase a longer one?

A: The camera comes with one 1m network cable for the initial test. If you need a longer installation, you will need to purchase a longer cable separately.

Q: Can the 5MP IP camera record without an internet connection?

A: Yes, after the initial setup with an internet connection via the Reolink App/Client, the camera can record without internet access. However, you may need to remove the SD card to check the recordings in this situation.
